Don’t engage things that has no positive outcome

I was talking to a guy that used 4 plastic cups just to drink water which is unnecessary and bad for environment.

I told him isn’t it better to use just 1 cup?

He said that he doesn’t give a fuck with a rage. He said he doesn’t care.

But that moment made me anxious and really angry. It ruined my day so that I couldn’t concentrate on my German class. It effected me 3-4 hours.

In the end, no positive outcome made I just ruined my day and increased my stress levels.

When you face a problem, ask yourself

  • Whether or not if you have control to change the situation
  • If you don’t have and if it doesn’t worth it in the greater picture and just move on
  • See the things that you can change and tell what you believe

Moving on for the things that you can not change and doesn’t worth is better choice for your stress levels.

  • Traffic jam? Turn on some cool music and enjoy
  • Argument with not intellectual people that has no positive outcome? just move on
  • Your friend cancelled plans? Find another one without holding a grudge
  • You had a shit day? Go to gym and workout
